What If

Somewhere like this by WongFu Production

What if that time comes when you bump with someone in your past? What if that time comes when you least expected to? Would it matter? Would you try to fix what was broken? Will you try to continue where you last thought it should've been?

People change, and so do feelings. When you learned that the other had moved on... why go back where you don't have any place to go to? Why go back when all doors and windows have been closed? Why go back when you knew you'd be pushed and a no will right flash back at you?

Memories stay and eventually you have to accept it was over. Hesitations are felt. Friendship are broken. You start over like strangers do.

But what if, you were wrong? What if the other had not moved on? What if that person was stuck in the past trying to mend what was broken? What if the other had make excuses to mend himself? What will you do?

You might have thought that what you thought was right, but what if the thought you thought was all wrong.

But, some things are meant to change. Some words are left unsaid. Some day it will be over. Some day you just have to accept.

God holds and sees everything, but people are the ones who make the choices.

That somewhere like this...you might never have it.

But God is willing to listen and to understand. So don't worry, submit you prayers to God and trust in Him. In time, you will understand.

Beach to Choose

I am really looking for good beaches yet affordable here in Albay, haven't been to one, except Misibis bay Resort in Cagragay Island, Bacacay Albay and Reyes Beach Resort in Sto. Domingo.

Misibis Bay Resort has white sand yet very expensive. On the other hand Reyes Beach Resort, the shore is very stoney (is that right?)

My father said that Costa Palmera Resort is a good place, but I just dont know about the rates. The 360-degree view can be seen though http://360virtualtourist.com/costa-palmera-resort-albay/

The Model Father

I remembered the first sermon my brother, Macc Macc shared in Legazpi Seventh-day Adventist Church. The message moved me, that made me teary-eyed. It was maybe because of its personal touch that is near to my heart.

Hotdog BBQ

"Sometimes, it takes an empty stomach to realize what food you wanted to eat."

On our way home, we passed by Daraga Market and smelled the yummy chicken barbecue (which my youngest brother kept on blabbering- Oooo Barbecue! Chicken Barbecue!) While on the highway, the children kept on talking about other things in the van that we forgot about the barbecue we smelled along the way. They were playing with the balloons, singing silly songs and other stuff.

Arriving in our house, we had a small snack called pinakro (which I don't usually eat). Later on, Jojo was thinking what would be our dinner. We couldn't cook because there was no LPG. So, our helper said we had coal. Jojo was suppose to fry the hotdogs, but I had a brilliant idea- why not hotdog barbecue? Well, Winna and I prepared the hotdogs, while my brother prepared the sauce (whom he just came across youtube). Some of which were toasted some were just right; but the important thing is - it's cooked.

Thank you God for leaving some hotdogs in the freezer and some coal that we were able to have hotdog barbecue for dinner.

God's Young Champion

God's Young Champion by Maccjaf V. Asuncion during the 1st Albayanos Homecoming & Fellowship
Just this Sabbath afternoon, during the 1st Albayanos' Homecoming and Fellowship, my younger brother, Glance Maccjaf V. Asuncion shared a wonderful message entitled, God's Young Champion. It was taken from 1 Samuel 17:45, “Then said David to the Philistine, you come to me with a sword and with a spear, and with a shield but I come to you in the name of the Lord of host, the God of the armies of Israel.” We must be a light to everyone and though we maybe of a young age, we could be instruments of God in the salvation of our friends, neighbors, family or even someone whom we may not personally know. The full message of my brother may be read in the anoling sda church website.

May you be blessed by the message. God bless and keep God in your heart always <3

Two in a Row

My mother woke us up around 5 in the morning. Tito danny drove the taxi while Uncle Pons drove the van with the kids. Well, today, we are off to the beach! We stopped by the house of the tour guide in Washington drive. We passed by a store where they sell blocks of ice. We had one and a half bag of ice for Php 75. Luckily, Winna has some coins with her and tito danny that we have combined the money to Php 75. From there, our trip then continues. For a second, I thought we are going straight to Misibis Bay. Well, we stopped again near the town plaza of Santo Domingo 'cause my parents bought some fruits in the market. After a couple of minutes, they came and off we went.

It was a long, long ride. about 2 to 3 hours, leaving our house at around 6:30 am. The road has bumps. The bridge is already done, and it was like San Juanico bridge, but a shorter version. We transferred from one island to another. Then we saw the facade of Cagragay Eco- Energy Park where to took some photos. The entrance fee per person is Php 20.This is where the Walang Hanggan, a teleserye of ABS-CBN, shoot a couple of their episodes.

Congratulations Batch 2013

Thank You God for everything and for the award you've given me. Thank you for the people who never stopped believing in me and those people who inspired me in finishing this course.  Thank you for the seven years of persistence and perseverance. Thank You for AUP for building me up and DWCL for giving me a chance in improving myself. It may not be a smooth ride, but you were always there for me. Now, I can finally say I finished my Accountancy Degree.

To God be all the Glory

The end of college days is fast approaching, and I want to take this time to thank the people who have helped me where I am today. Accounting is a tough career and I thank God for giving me wonderful professors in AUP who have molded me and prepared me to go on.

I graduated my Management Accounting degree at AUP. I am thankful for my professors - Mam Bing (Accounting I & 2), Mam OJ (FA 1-3), Sir Red ( AudTheory, AIS, Auditing),  Mam Joy (Cost Acctg 1&2, ObliCon) Mam Lintao (Adv. Acctg 1&2 & Mngt Accounting), Mam Ghee (Tax 1&2), Sir Law (ParCor, Sales, Nego) and Mam Macalalad (FBOM, HBO,MCB, FS),  who in one way or another molded me (academics, realities of life) throughout college years in AUP. If it weren't for them, I couldn't possibly continue my dream of being a CPA someday.

I wasn't expecting to continue Accountancy, but due to the persistence of my father, I made it possible. I was hoping to continue Accountancy in AUP, but due to financial difficulties, I had to stay home. I struggled my life over a new environment. It wasn't the same and how I wished to go back to AUP, but I had to stay. Life wasn't easy back home, classes may seem easy, but I guess I started out from scratch- taking basic subjects plus 18 units of Theology. But there were people who continued to inspire me, my thoughts of my previous professors and friends who believed in me - made me take a step forward. I am thankful for Mam Mortz who  have believed in me, especially when I just started in DWCL - having Management Accounting II. I would also want to thank Sir Rey Redoblado, Sir Mark Ng, Sir Busalla and Sir Ramos who mentored us through our Pre-review classes.

In my seven years in college, graduated BSCMA and will be graduating BSA, AUP and DWCL have both touched my heart in pursuing my dreams. Once again, I  would want to extend my sincerest gratitude to the professors and my inspirations in continuing this career. I may not have chosen this career, but through God, He helped me love it.

In God's time, I know, I will, I can and I am a CPA.

School's Out

Thank you God, classes are finally over. It was a rough ride indeed, a total of seven years in college with  two bachelor's degrees. Thank you God for the abundant blessings, words couldn't tell how thankful I am to You. To God be All the Glory!

Accountancy: Almost there!

For the past years, I know in one way or another, I regretted a lot of things -  but what I didn't regret is learning from them. Being immature before, I know I had struggled a lot that caused the many failures I had. Maybe because I didn’t make an option but to choose to love someone more than my studies could’ve been. I cannot change the fact that it happened already and people are constantly reminding me of what had happened before – if only you had only focused and didn’t mind about love – what could have happened of me? No one can tell, because it never happened.

As it said, there is no permanent thing in this world but CHANGE. People change, feelings change. Other people change and so do their feelings. Broken hearts are hard to mend, especially broken dreams. But I thank you for the broken heart that I learned how it is to love someone – all out.

March is fast approaching, I may still have struggles over my studies, but it didn’t stop me from having that dream of graduating in ACCOUNTANCY. It was a big start, it wasn’t easy. I struggled from love, school, friends and family. But God helped me through.

It was all thanks to God – a great big one – if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be as happy as I am today.

Final Preboards

God, I am really scared for the next three days. But I know, You will be there for me. I know I haven't prepared that much but please Lord, be with me, I can't do it all alone. Lord, I put everything in your hands. Thank you Lord. Amen.

Love this

This video is from bubzbeauty. The song matched beautifully with their pre-wedding photoshoot.

Everyone dreams of a beautiful wedding with the person they love - the one who loves unconditionally and accepts you just as you are. Someone who wouldn't change you dramatically but would help you to be a better person.

Let God be our author and let Him guide us in all our decisions as we meet the one He has in mind for us.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.1 Corinthians 13:4-7, ESV

Have it

Thank You God for this... It has been a long time since I received a recognition of being a Dean's Lister. I may not have attended the recognition day, but I know God is still happy I am upholding my Sabbath keeping. Thank you Lord. :)

Flipping it All

As I was flipping the pages of my book, I remembered placing colorful notes with different messages – things I used to do. Flipping them, it reminded me of the tears and the smiles I use to share it with. Just like a book, memories stay but there will always be a new edition to correct the mistakes and do better.

It should've been

I thank God for this day, I am blessed going to church. I may not have attended an activity but still, thank you God. This is all for you :)
